The "Heart" in the Bible, by Jay Quine

The Codex Gigas from the 13th century, held at...13th Century Codex Gigas: Jay QuineRomans 2:15, 29 and the Meaning of "Heart"
We may say, that athlete plays with a lot of heart, or a girl or boy friend broke your heart. The Bible also uses the word “heart” to describe our passion, our will, and even our emotions. So our heart can turn away from God, but God speaks to your heart to draw you back. As Christians the Holy Spirit gives us a new heart—removing our heart of stone and making it a vivacious heart of flesh. Hiding the word of God within you mends your broken hearts. This is Dr. Jay Quine asking you to remember the word – and to love the Lord your God with all your heart.
